UPDATE FROM MISS TEEN YAVAPAI-APACHE NATION

Dagteh!

March was great month!

I participated in the Sedona St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the Yavapai-Apache Nation Courtship. It was a beautiful day and met Congressman Tom O’Halleran and other new people.

I was honored to address the Tribal Leadership at the Arizonans for Tribal Government Gaming Tribal Leaders Meeting at We-Ko-Pa Conference Center. It was interesting to hear the candidates for the upcoming Arizona elections, especially Tracy Livingston who is seeking the Superintendent Office for Arizona.

I attended the Annual Gathering of the Pais hosted by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. It was a wonderful event and met new friends. Congratulations to Goldie Havatone who was name Ms. Elder Pai Woman 2018-2019 and Dawn Rocha who was name Ms. Pai Woman 2018-2019. Both women are from the Hualapai Nation.

As Miss Teen Yavapai-Apache I have reached out to our children in the Montessori Schoolhouse and Day Care Center which I will dedicate time to read to the children.

I look forward to meeting members of our community at our Nation’s events.

Ashoog! .
