Nation members participate in musical video

Traditional group Cha’bii-Tu Dancers of McNary, Arizona join movie actor Gerald Auger of Calgary,Alberta (front right) and local extras Beth Lowry (far right back) next to Margie Campos of Middle Verde.

Native Canadian movie actor Gerald Auger came to the Jack Pot Ranch next to Middle Verde in April to film a short music video with country singer Jim Carter. Mr.Carter is a musical composer and singer based in Calgary, Alberta.

Shelby Elwood, producer and director of Memphis/Phoenix said the crew stopped to videotape some scenes from the Sedona area and choose the Jack Pot Ranch area as part of the set for the musical video.

The musical video will be shown sometime in October, 2018, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, site of the Grand Ole Opry.

The Cha’Bii Tu’ Dancers from McNary was also in the scene.  Margie Campos, her daughter Beth Lowry and Annabelle Ibarra were all in the scenes inside of the teepee where a scene was set up with Gerald Auger.
